THE 'ART AND SOLE' OF SHIRUZZI SHOES
Shiruzzi Shoes took its first steps in 1980, when designer Shira Cohen identified a considerable market segment that expressed a desire for chic, stylish orthopedic shoes.

Shira's unusual take on color-blocking and avant-garde styling, led to a new concept in "healthy" shoes for all ages. Her remarkable shoes, which stand out for their unique styles and color combinations, are designed, first and foremost, for comfort and all-day wearability.

Shiruzzi shoes are handmade in Israel, using the highest quality Italian leathers, characterized by bold colors, artistic prints, and soft textures.

Once you've walked in Shiruzzi shoes, you'll understand what your feet have been trying to tell you all your life.

MEET SHIRA OF SHIRUZZI
Shira Cohen, who had moved to Israel from Wyckoff, New Jersey, had always been intensely sensitive to colors. Even as a child, her saddle shoes were not the standard black and white of the time. Hers were bright red.

As a newcomer to the Israeli fashion scene, Shira opened a small shop that featured unusual fashion accessories in the heart of Tel Aviv. She began to notice that while most of her customers were really creative in their clothing and accessory choices, their shoes left something to be desired. So, she decided to take their feet into her own hands.

Learning the craft of shoe-making from the most respected artisans of the time, Shira began to understand that orthopedic shoes were not only for certain age groups. If you want to have "Happy Feet" all your life, you should treat them right at any age.

Shira opened her first shoe store in Tel Aviv in 1980, where she introduced handmade orthopedic shoes that stood out for their innovative styles and colors. For over 40 years now, Shira has been putting her "art and sole" into creating shoes that uniquely combine uncompromising comfort and ageless style.
